What are CDFIs?
Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) provide credit and financial services to underserved markets and populations that have historically been locked out the financial system. CDFIs can be banks, credit unions, loan funds, microloan funds, or venture capital providers. Below are some CDFIs and other alternative lenders we have built great relationships with that can assist you. We encourage you to build the relationship with these institutions before you need them. If you want to learn more about CDFIs in general, visit www.cdfifund.gov/sites/cdfi/files/documents/cdfi_infographic_v08a.pdf
