About Kimberly A. Ross
Kimberly A. Ross (p/k/a Kimberly Antoinette) is a multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer whose work bridges visual arts with fashion design. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design & Merchandising from San Francisco State University and an Associate of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from City College of San Francisco. As the founder of fashion brand, K. Antoinette Collection, and Thread the CultureTM, a creative production company, Ross blends her artistic talents with entrepreneurial pursuits, collaborating with creatives across the United States. As an artist, Kimberly's work delves into the multifaceted tapestry of Black womanhood, celebrating its beauty, strength, and resilience. She draws inspiration from personal experiences, weaving together threads of joy, sorrow, and dreams into a visual narrative. By subverting traditional representations, she aims to challenge societal stereotypes and empower Black women to embrace their authentic selves.
Ross is currently practicing her art in Richmond, California.
